Supporting Local Charities & Organisations in 2008

CMD also supported a number of other worthy causes within our community. For confidentially reasons we do not wish to name these causes
It is always the policy of the Management in CMD to give back to our community in whatever way we can.

IITD Cert in Training & Development - Jamuary 2009
The next IITD Certificate in Training and Development course will commence in Sligo in January 2009. Places are limited to 15 and places are filling fast. If you are intrested please contact Margaret in CMD or log on to the IITD website and register. If you book early you may be intitled to receive up to 70% FAS funding. Again funding is limited so call now!!!!.
Mullinabreena GAA Celebrations
The team at CMD are delighted to be associalted with the celebrations in Mullinabreena (the home of our founder, Chris McDonagh). Their GAA club are celebrating the centenary of wining the 1958 Intermediate County Final with a Banquet in the Clarion Hotel on the 26th October.
Tidy Towns
We wish to congratulate Westport on winning the Tidy Towns National Award 2008. Its a great honor for all involved and we especially congratulate our collegue Ethne Larkin in her role as Chairperson of Westport Tidy Towns. Well done to all.

Once again the team at CMD are delighted to sponsor the 2008 Winter League this November. This is our ninth year to be involved with our friends in Tubbercurry and as always is a great pleasure. We look forward to another exciting competition
CMD Summer Camps August 08
The summer camps were another success story this year. With the weather so bad it was a treat for the kids to get something exciting to do. So much so that some even came twice. A lot of requests to continue something similiar for the winter months. Watch this space!!! Our designers are busy working on some fantastic new ideas.
Giving Back to the Community
CMD appreciate our successes over the last 14 years and we are delighted to be able to give back something small to our community. Over the years we have sponsored many local charitys and community groups in Sligo and further afield. We will continue to support worthy causes.
CMD Staff also give of our time voluntary to local groups. Over the years these groups included North Connaught Youth Services, Irish Association of Community Training Organisations, Sligo Community Training Centre and others
